MILFORD ADAMS
Milford Adams is a seasoned real estate professional with over 29 years of experience in purchasing, selling, and developing commercial and residential real estate. He currently serves as the President of the Denver Metro Association of REALTORS® and owns Lyons Realty Group, LLC. Among his broad spectrum of accomplishments, Milford founded a charter credit union in Kansas and effected changes to the Affordable Housing Program in Denver, making housing more accessible for those in need. He has always had a drive for serving others and it is this drive that led him to his current endeavor of building and developing affordable, attainable, and successful housing communities.
Milford previously had federal contracts with Veteran Affairs and HUD housing, and is currently working on developing 40-plus acres in the Denver Metro Area. He is also working alongside other professionals to rebuild the communities that were destroyed by the devastating Marshall Fire in late 2021.
Besides real estate, Milford has worked at junior and senior management levels in the private and public sectors. At the peak of his corporate career, Milford worked as a manager for a Fortune 500 company. Milford’s extensive corporate experience and a solid background in finance equipped him with a robust skillset that enables him to be successful and efficient in all aspects of real estate and developing. He is passionate about sharing this knowledge and frequently gives talks on leadership, in addition to providing training for corporations on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading and working out to stay fit and focused. Since Milford holds service to his community close to his heart, he also volunteers his much of his time to champion good causes within his community.
